About the Festival
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, in one of his last discourses, emphatically stated that women should already get together NOW with song, dance, and drum in celebration of the geula.
"10 years ago I had a great desire and vision, to create a festival for women that would be as fun and exciting, but this time holy, as the non-jewish festivals I went to as a young adult. The festival would use all the wonderful elements of live music, dance, drum circles, art, etc. but this time to further true personal growth, expanded awareness of the goal of geula, and be a home for Jewish women to strengthen themselves in loving, supportive community. The festival has since grown and matured, providing a unique atmosphere of joy, inspiration, and achdut and an unforgettable experience that so many women cherish and look forward to every year. Join the family; we are all in this journey together." - Aviva Spiegel, Festival Producer

Faith in the Certainty of Redemption:
A summary of a sicha from the Lubavitcher Rebbe:
12:35 The Israelites requested silver and gold utensils and clothing from the Egyptians: By also bringing along timbrels, the women demonstrated more faith and trust in God than did the men. The women of our generation, too, should not hesitate to demonstrate their certainty that the final Redemption is imminent. To be sure, until the moment of redemption arrives, we should all feel the bitterness of the exile and pray fervently to God that He bring it to its end. But at the same time, our unshakable confidence that God will fulfill His promise of redemption should fill us with overflowing joy. Women, on the strength of their innately more deep-seated faith, should already begin celebrating the Redemption—even with music, dance, and drum—and this should inspire the men to follow suit.[1]

What Makes our Festival Environment so Unique:
1) True Unity!
✨ Women from all over Israel, religious and secular, Hebrew and English speaking, young and old, come together at the Tambourine Dream Festival, with the purpose of remembering and celebrating that we are really ONE PEOPLE with ONE HEART and ONE PRAYER. Through the simple act of leaving our individual homes and lives, and entering the incredibly rich, joyous, and unifies space of Tambourine Dream Festival, we are actively taking part in one of the main tikkunim our generation needs to do-- True Ahavas Yisrael.
2) Kedushah!
The Tambourine Dream Festival is the first ever festival of its kind, based in the holy land, and based in the revival of the inner dimensions of Torah-- the inner secrets on why we woke up this morning and what is the deeper purpose of my life.
3) Sacred Sisterhood!
We are one of, if not the only festival in Israel that is for women only. Did I mention one of our holy sisters has the most incredible, private beach on the Kineret that has been hosting our festival every year?
